2 simple steps
Pune to Mumbai is shown here as a short-haul road-planning reference. Owner travel and vehicle travel do not have to happen together. Plan the responsible people, inspection records and authority at both handovers around the actual transport stages.
Hinjawadi and Hadapsar are on different sides of Pune. Give the society or office entrance and the vehicle location so the pickup leg can be aligned with departure.
Make the releasing contact available for the agreed inspection. They need the booking instructions and any premises permission before the collection team arrives.
A friend, family member or workplace contact may handle collection, but they need the booking details. Give the nominated person the key and accessory record and explain where the bike is to be inspected and packed. Check any authorization requested by the transporter or premises. At the receiving end, identify who is permitted to inspect the package and acknowledge the motorcycle if the owner has not arrived.
Confirm foam-wrapping scope, a suitable secured two-wheeler cage position or any requested crate with the booked carrier; these are not automatic inclusions.
The handover plan sits at either end of this road reference: Pune → Mumbai, using NH48.
Explain the Maharashtra sequence to the receiving contact so a progress message is not mistaken for arrival at the final address.
The reference distance is approximately 150 km; use the under 350 km band for the initial planning conversation. If the owner travels first, keep another receiver available over the accepted delivery range. Explain any genuine receiving deadline before the booking is agreed.
Western suburbs, Thane and Navi Mumbai require different last-mile arrangements. Name the actual municipality and a receiving person; do not plan personal travel around a map driving time.
Give the nominated receiver the authority and records they need. They should be able to inspect and acknowledge the shipment while the owner is elsewhere.

The releasing and receiving contacts can use Pune → Mumbai as geographical context. A location update on NH48 is not itself confirmation that the vehicle has reached the booked handover point.
If the owner travels first, keep another receiver available over the accepted delivery range. Explain any genuine receiving deadline before the booking is agreed. The distance model is 150 km through the listed waypoints; actual addresses and a different alignment can change that reference.
Confirm both nominated contacts and the requested authority before pickup. Share the condition pictures and accessory list with the receiver so they can inspect the same items at delivery.
